ALL ABOUT US
Nice to meet you! After months of hard work, We are thrilled to invite you to explore our project, and get to know a bit more about us. We are 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in an advanced program called SAIL which stands for Students Accelerating in Learning. Our teacher's name is Mrs. Smyk. She has been teaching for 33 years!   We are passionate about reading and learning new skills. We love to go on field trips and help out the Pump House Museum with research. Sometimes we even get to present to large crowds! We hope you’ll enjoy our project. We would love to hear your feedback!

Kids Step Back in Time by Nevaeh
On October 23,2019 fourth grade SAIL kids marched to the Getz Zoo that is now a garden estate. Students got to explore for a little while to help them with a project based research project about Getz Zoo back in time.
Nevaeh said it was an amazing experience!
One reason that she liked the zoo (garden) was because Nevaeh got to see a one hundred year old fountain! She also saw an amazing huge house that had tons of stuff.
Another reason Nevaeh liked this place was because she saw where all the animals went to sleep, and where the birds drank their water from. Nevaeh also saw a water tower as well as a humongous garage.
